A new office
The new home of Xero is coming along nicely now.
It was about two weeks ago that I started knocking down an office, using a hammer and a crowbar. Admittedly it was only a small two room office inside an industrial unit, but it was fun nonetheless. That was the first step towards us moving to Totnes.
The master plan, which is now well underway, is that instead of having an office and a warehouse and very little in the way of a showroom we have it all under one roof! We will have an office upstairs and a warehouse/workshop taking up half of the downstairs area with a showroom in the second half. It's simple.
Since I set about the office with the hammer and crowbar a lot has changed. Out with the old, in with the new! The bare block work walls are now gleaming white, the stock is in the warehouse, the workshop is in working order, the office electrics are in place and the new wall spanning the width of the office is just waiting for the glass!
There is still a lot to do. However it will all be done in the next couple of weeks. We are planning an open day some time around Easter, (which if your like me and had no idea when it is, it is the 24th April).
If you are interested in coming to see us for the open day, get in touch. You can use the form on the website or email m.holder@x-ev.com.
