Dan and Matt's Xero Journal Part 2
A Green buy is always the Best Buy….
Good morning/afternoon/evening (ours is a blog for all occasions and tastes) little blogees, you amazing (and hopefully amassing) people. My musing for today is upon our second week of work in exciting and Green luscious world that inhabits the inside of Xero Technology HQ. Seriously, its like Narnia in here, you step through the door and little slave beavers take you through the woods to the enchanted pond… ok, that’s enough of that. This week has been incredibly exciting however; as we learn more about our chosen profession and really get our teeth stuck into life here.
Soooo, where to start? Press openings, dealing with journos, Polo and the light that threatens my sanity with each growing day (it doesn’t seem to be able to make its mind up about something, it just hmmmm’s all day). Well how about we start with our MASSIVE, EXCITING, AMAZING, BRILLIANT THESAURUS EMPTYING NEWS! And that is, ladies and gentleman, if you haven’t heard from elsewhere, that Xero eScooters and Epedals are now available for purchase at the new Best Buy stores you may have noticed starting to pop up around the place. Now, if you are unfamiliar with Best Buy then allow me to fill you in. Best Buy is incredible- that’s it. What? You want more? Fussy people! Ok Best Buy are an American retail outfit selling electrical products- and when they say they sell electrical products they aren’t joking- this place has everything including, thanks to being a green thinking company, our own delicious little cycles. The only problem here is that Best Buy’s first store opening is in Thurrock, Essex, and I am in here, the office, Newton Abbot. So to make the VIP opening meant a half four rise and lots of coffee for myself, Matt and Ollie to make the start time. Now, when I mentioned there were various perks to the job I wasn’t telling fibs. So if I just throw out some words to you see if you can join them together to make a picture of our day- 3D Television, me, Ipads, Matt, various fruit drinks, electrical bike testing, a Tesla sports car (those words do not do its awesomeness justice), a game testing room, HD television, free food and lovely, blue shirt wearing guides who certainly know their stuff. Hopefully you get the idea. It was amazing, and best of luck to Best Buy, we hope we can do our best for them and in turn we get the best for our products (noticing a theme here…?).

In other news, Xero Technology has managed to secure stands at some (insert praise-worthy adjective I haven’t already used on Best Buy here) events. That’s right faithful reader; Xero will be selling our Zero Emission vehicles at both the Madrid Masters (tennis that is, Federer, Nadal, and the o so cheery and smiley Mr Andy ‘tears’ Murray) on the 7th to the 16th of May and at Polo in the Park on the 4th to the 6th of June! How exciting! Well I for one can’t wait, thems the brakes and these the perks! So if you happen to be passing the tennis or fancy a bit of dry land Polo then please stop on by.
Another target to Xero in on are your local newspapers, we are attempting to be a bit more visible and as we are incredibly proud of our Green products we want you all to know as much about them as possible. Having chatted away to a few of the plucky wordsmith journalist writers of these circulars this week we should be getting some more coverage- so keep watching the skies! No wait, we haven’t launched our electric UFO range yet… just keep watching the newsagents… that would be better.
Ciao for now!
